The New York Rangers avoided arbitration with center Ryan Strome, agreeing to a two-year, $9 million contract, according to multiple reports.

Strome had a breakout season this year, with 18 goals and a career-high 59 points while centering the Rangers' second line.

The New York Islanders and restricted free agent Ryan Pulock reached agreement on a two-year contract ahead of Friday's arbitration hearing.

According to multiple reports, the deal is for $10 million.

The 26-year-old defenseman had 10 goals and 35 points last season, skating on the top blue-line pairing on an Islanders team that stresses defense under coach Barry Trotz.

Dominik Kahun agreed to a one-year, $975,000 contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.

"I'm very excited to join the Oilers," Kahun told the Oilers NOW podcast. "I hope we can start play as soon as possible. I'm super excited and very happy it worked out like that."
